History/Overview: Founded in 2008 by Chadwick Stokes and Sybil Gallagher, Calling All Crows has raised over $250,000 to support national and international non-profit organizations, and invested more than 20,000 hours of service in local communities across North America and Europe.
Music has a storied history of providing the soundtrack for social movements through its undisputable, yet indescribable, power to bring people together. We harness that energy and provide ways for people to make a difference.When the show is over and the house lights come up, we recognize that our world faces real challenges like gender inequality, hunger, marriage inequality, education inequity, and a neglected environment. By investing in music fans to give them the skills and support needed to organize service projects and take action in their communities, we are making a bold statement about the power of the music scene to produce life-long activists for the public good.
Now entering its fifth year, Calling All Crows has focused on a myriad of human rights issues over the past including women's rights, gender equity, hunger, abolition of the death penalty, marriage equality, education inequity, and the environment.
