About InterAction
InterAction is the largest coalition of U.S.-based international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) focused on the world's poor and most vulnerable people. Collectively, InterAction's nearly 200 members work in every developing country. Members meet people halfway in expanding opportunities and supporting gender equality in education, health care, agriculture, small business and other areas.
About NGO Aid Map
NGO Aid Map is an InterAction initiative focused on collecting information on NGOs' work at the project level and making it accessible to donors, NGOs, businesses, governments and the public through an online, interactive mapping tool. The site, which focuses on the work of InterAction members, aims to: increase transparency, facilitate partnerships, improve coordination and help NGOs and other actors make more informed decisions about where to direct their resources. To date, InterAction has launched three sub-sites, focused on Haiti, food security and agriculture globally, and the Horn of Africa. We've collected information from more than 100 organizations on more than 3,600 projects in over 80 countries, and ultimately plan to gather information on our members' work in every sector, in every country.
