We need a team of volunteers to support a school project for Haiti
Our HFTF (not for profit) organization is dedicated to build schools, feeds and provide refuge for homeless children around Haiti. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to coordinate our successful program. The organization relies on the goodwill of our volunteers, and the growth and nurturing of this department is vital to the functioning of HFTF.
Working from home and part time at New York office, this highly satisfying role will see you: coordinating local fundraising and high profile events and celebrities. Creating new volunteer projects and attracting enthusiastic members representing HFTF in publicity and promotional activities liaising with national and local media.
We are looking for a proactive, responsible individual who has demonstrated a history of success in: growing and coordinating community fundraising events, Public and media relations, promotional launches and donor development strategies media liaison, Website design and publicity generation, managing and expanding existing supporter and UN networks whilst and establishing new networks.
Please note that this is a volunteer position but highly decompensate.

Our projects are a brilliant way to get experience for work/studies, meet new people and build new relationships while developing interpersonal and teamwork skills, as well as having fun! We offer training and ongoing support throughout the project, and can reimburse travel expenses (up to £75 per week). We can also provide a reference for up to one year after involvement, and it looks great on your CV!
