The American Red Cross International Services Department (ISD) seeks to prevent and alleviate human suffering around the world by responding to disasters, building safer, more resilient communities, and educating future humanitarians. In the coming years the American Red Cross will deepen and expand its programming around the world while also working to strengthen the global Red Cross Red Crescent network, in order to deliver vital help and hope to some of the most vulnerable communities.
SUMMARY:
ISD seeks an undergraduate or graduate student intern to support its Information Management Unit. The intern will be responsible for research and data entry about international disaster responses and long-term humanitarian programs. Specifically, this will involve sourcing, cleaning and entering relevant data into an Access database. We are looking for someone who can work for a period of 15 to 20 hours per week beginning in January for a period of twelve weeks. This internship is paid.
