We're the innovative, national campaign that is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. foreign policy. You will play a crucial role in efforts to improve living conditions for those surviving on less than $1 a day.
Position: International Affairs Intern
About the Internship:
As a rapidly growing organization roles and responsibilities change frequently but the following are likely assignments.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring and training national volunteers. The majority of internship will be spent posting online volunteer openings in key Congressional Districts.
- Serve as a "go-to" for getting done various tasks and assignments as needed.
- Assist with fundraising (1-2 days)
- Write material for the newsletter, blog and other publications.
- The intern will be required to complete 260-360 hours and will have flexibility in setting their schedule for the course of the internship. All work will be done at the office, which is located in Downtown Seattle.
