IDEA US has internship opportunities in the following areas:
Research
- Write, edit and post debatabase entries on topical subjects
- Update existing entries
- Monitor and participate in online discussions on debatabase topics
Publications
- Permissions research
- Researching and developing forums for Press visibility
- Prepare incoming manuscripts for production
- Working together with development director to research publication-specific grants
Development
- Assist with our fund raising efforts including researching new opportunities, grant writing, researching and developing lists of potential individual donors
- Work to update and maintain mailing lists and program files
Events and PR
- Online promotion of IDEA events including our monthly Cogers event
- Work on preparations and logistics for our annual Youth Forum
- Work with our international staff to incorporate social media into our communications strategy
- Assist with trainings
