Ashoka Changemakers is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented intern to support our Director of Design & Knowledge. Activities will likely consist of:
- Supporting launch of new pilots and strengthening online platform tools;
- Developing written reports and infographics summarizing theory research;
- Quantitative research, including spread sheets and data integrity; and
- Contributing directly to a fun and collegial environment.
The most competitive candidates will:
- Possess developed data analysis skills and comfort working with spread sheets;
- Show an interest in product development and trends;
- Demonstrate knowledge of the innovation sector;
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, writing and multi-tasking skills;
- Possess a strong intellectual curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit;
- Show comfort working in an unstructured environment; and
- Have a demonstrated commitment to the social sector via their studies, or work/volunteer experience;
The internship is UNPAID, but those hired get their foot in the door of a global, 500-person organization with a 30-year legacy of intellectual leadership and social innovation. Washington DC-based students are encouraged to apply, as part time opportunities are available.
