The Street Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for managing the work done in the three different markets where Cenit's street outreach program takes place.
Responsibilities
- To train new Rescate volunteers, providing them with necessary information for their program work and how to work with children
- To motivate and inspire the Rescate volunteers
- To work closely with the "resonsables" of each market, controlling their behavior and ensuring that they are completing their tasks satisfactorily and punctually
- To maintain and improve the curriculum of Rescate (looking for new topics, activities, etc.)
- To moderate a weekly meeting of Rescate volunteers
- To attend a weekly meeting with the volunteer coordinator
- To coordinate activities with the Rescate educators and the responsables of each market, maintaining open lines of communication
- To help, support, and facilitate the communication between volunteers and Ecuadorian employees
- To maintain the attendence lists and the weekly activity plans in cooperation with the Rescate educators
Requirements
- Six month minimum commitment (one year preferred)
- Intermediate-advanced Spanish
