Internship Description: The purpose of this internship is to assist with developing and improving Autism Speaks South Florida's relationship with the local Jewish community by making contacts and encouraging collaboration. Applicants certainly do not have to be Jewish, but they must be comfortable transparently representing Autism Speaks within the Jewish community.
The intern will be trained in the history of the issues that Autism Speaks South Florida is engaged in. In addition, the Jewish Family Services intern will be informed and be familiar with the various projects and advocacy campaigns with the goal of being an articulate spokesperson for the mission of Autism Speaks South Florida.

The South Florida Chapter of Autism Speaks provides an invaluable experience to interns from all backgrounds wanting to have a hands-on experience in their field of study. The internship provides essential experience in making career choices and enhancing Jewish identity. The intern should look forward to multi-tasking, organizing, and adding their own creativity to the work they produce.
This internship is open during Spring, Summer and Fall semesters. We ask for a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling.
