International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to ensure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to promote functioning public justice systems.
The DC internship program is designed to give undergraduate students through young professionals the opportunity to serve in IJM's headquarters. By being an intern you will participate in the ongoing work of protecting the rights of those subject to violent forms of oppression and human rights abuses.
IJM's Web Development Associate program provides web designers and developers with experience in a professional and fast-paced in-house creative environment. They will develop and maintain a variety of web-based sites and applications that will directly impact organizational objectives and goals through online engagement, fundraising, community building and social networking. Throughout this program, they will work closely with IJM's Web Developer and Director of Interactive & Creative Services and have the opportunity to learn new technologies and practice their skills in a real-world web development setting. They will gain valuable experience working with clients to strategize solutions that will help them achieve their project/campaign goals as well as play an integral role in the actual implementation of those solutions.
