Interns are a vital part of the Order Sons of Italy/Sons of Italy Foundation (OSIA/SIF). You support to the communications and development departments, assist in maintaining membership programs, and provide administrative support.
Most importantly, you should be highly motivated, demonstrate a professional demeanor and a strong desire to learn about the many facets of a non-profit and membership association. Interest in Italian-American issues and culture a plus, but not required.
Students majoring in journalism, communications, public relations, public affairs, business, political science, government, and related fields are encouraged to apply. College students entering their second year of school or higher are eligible.
While the internship is unpaid, we do recognize hard work at the conclusion of an internship.

Hours: A minimum of 10-12 hours per week between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for a term of 10 to 15 weeks. The National Office will work with student to accommodate class schedules and other part-time jobs. However, a consistent weekly schedule must be established.
The National Office is a two minute walk to Union Station Metro.
