Position Summary

The intern will work with EnterpriseWorks/VITA to edit video footage for several projects and update EW/V's and RI's websites content. The intern must be based in Washington, D.C.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Create a series of visually stunning videos for EnterpriseWorks/VITA online media and promotional materials, including editing and uploading video content for EW/V's and RI's websites.
  • Create promotional brochures, flyers, etc for distribution during events as well as project updates and stories for their respective websites.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous hands-on experience with converting and managing different types of media, creating graphics and fonts, color correcting, and outputting edited footage to multiple formats including DVD.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe software required such as InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere.
  • Energetic and assertive, prepared to not only follow direction, but also proactively provide design and communication ideas.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and work independently as well as on a team.
  • Detail oriented, organized and ability to troubleshoot
  • Bachelor's degree in visual arts or related field, or formal training in film editing, video production, and/or post production techniques preferred.
  • Some knowledge of HTML and web design a plus.
  • General knowledge of world affairs and international/intergovernmental institutions a plus.
  • Willingness to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Salary: Unpaid internship; academic credit and a monthly transportation stipend available.
