The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nation on earth should be doing more to address global poverty. We're the innovative, national campaign that is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. foreign policy. You will play a crucial role in efforts to improve living conditions for those surviving on less than $1 a day.
About the Fellowship
We are currently looking to select a strong leader to hire and assist with managing 160+ volunteers from across the country. The selected Manager will report directly to the President.
Responsibilities: Interviewing and hiring new volunteers; running and preparing weekly conference calls; organizing volunteer databases; keeping in contact with volunteers through email, skype, and phone calls.
Details: The position is 20-hours per week (can be more if selected candidate needs the hours), unpaid, 5-month position. The Borgen Project is located in Downtown Seattle.
