Web Developer for One Job Per Child

Pasantía

Pasantía publicado por: One Job Per Child

Descripción de la pasantía

We need a website that wins donors. Help us get it off the ground! Interns from anywhere in the world may apply.

One Job Per Child is passionate about helping kids get themselves out of poverty. However, our current website doesn't yet reflect what we are as a company: open minded and forward-looking. We would love something fun yet professional.

What we do: By teaching children higher-order, high demand skills, One Job Per Child transforms them into leaders in the global marketplace. The education we provide does not limit or teach children archaic methods of "sustainability," rather, we provide computer-based skills and job placement for all of our participants who end up earning 200% of the average wage in their various countries.

What we need help with: As a self-funded nonprofit, we are hoping to attract donors to fund our venture. But, web development often costs a lot of money, which we would prefer to divert to helping our target group: kids in the developing world. So, we hope that one of you can help us out. It'll look great on any resume.

We've already got an idea of what we want it to look like, we just need one of you talented web developers to help us get it off the ground. A temporary website with text is being built, so all you'd have to do would be to redesign the site and plonk in the text.

The schedule is very flexible, but we do need the website to be completed within a certain timeframe, ideally by mid-February, as our website's appearance has a huge impact on our legitimacy.

Here's our website for your reference: http://onejobperchild.org/

Cómo solicitar el puesto

Please contactmarie@onejobperchild.orgfor more info on the opportunity. We need the website to be completed hopefully by mid-February. We are looking for someone to get the site off the ground, but if you would like to maintain it as well, that would be fantastic. Work is online-based, so international interns may apply as well.
