(RED) is seeking professional, dependable, and enthusiastic students and recent graduates for the (RED) Internship Program.
Based in New York, (RED) engages businesses and consumers in the fight against AIDS. (RED) partners with the world's most iconic brands – including Apple, Starbucks, Converse and The Coca-Cola Company – who contribute up to 50% of profits from (RED) branded goods and services to the Global Fund to invest in HIV/AIDS programs in Africa. To date, (RED) has generated over $200 million for the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, to support HIV/AIDS grants in Ghana, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland and Zambia. 100% of that money goes to work on the ground – no overhead is taken. Global Fund grants that (RED) supports have impacted more than 14 million people with prevention, treatment, counseling, HIV testing and care services.
Responsibilities: Work primarily with the (RED) Partner Team on a variety of projects that include:
Qualifications: Candidates must be undergraduate level students with a minimum of sophomore status or recent graduates within six months of completing their undergraduate degree. Additional qualifications include:
Commitment: Interns are required to work a minimum of 15 hours per week and can work up to 35 hours per week.
Compensation: A modest stipend will be provided for lunch and transportation costs. Students can also receive academic credit consistent with their university's guidelines.
