Project 1 - Expansion into South Jersey – Business Model Development & Market Research and Outreach Plan
Description: LAEDA is exploring the idea of expanding into South Jersey. The intern will conduct research on the various business models that exist for organizational expansion. The intern will analyze these models and make recommendations to the President/CEO which models best fit LAEDA's expansion goals. The intern will then conduct market research in the Southern Counties of New Jersey to pinpoint concentrations of populations who meet the EDTP participant profile and identify organizations and agencies with whom LAEDA may partner for program expansion. The intern will develop a plan of action in line with the preferred business model that will guide LAEDA's expansion. Upon completion of the project, the intern shall generate a LAEDA Expansion Plan complete with their research and analysis of business models, populations and implementation plan.

Project 2 - Develop/Revise Organizational Operations Manuals
Description: Intern will review and revise existing organizational operations manuals to ensure consistency across the organization and its functions to include; personnel, fiscal, program, real estate management, administration and resource development. Upon the completion for the project, the intern shall produce a complete and comprehensive LAEDA operations manual 2012.
