The Philly Friendship Circle's main focus is to help families who have children with special needs by involving them in a full range of social and Jewish experiences. The Circle's unique formula introduces teenage volunteers to the children and their families, and serves as an effective catalyst to foster leadership/volunteerism among teens.
The Philly Friendship Circle is seeking a motivated and creative candidate for a part time internship. As a development and PR intern, you will be assisting in the preparation of public relations campaigns as well as donor outreach and design related projects in the months preceding the annual gala.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Self-motivated
- Should be comfortable with Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and social media
- Sensitivity to the special needs population and to all youth in general as well as a strong work ethic are a must.
