Leave UR Mark has an opportunity for international students, graduates, or professionals from the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, or Asia to travel to India and do some meaningful work abroad. Interns would be working in a full fledged physiotherapy and rehab center for children with cerebral palsy and various neuromuscular disorders in Bangalore, India. The center helps with specialized services for children who may not get the proper care in regular physical therapy centers.
This is an opportunity for people to gain hands on experience for short periods of time (1 to 3 months) and experience India's rich culture in the evenings and weekends. Interns will get a chance to work alongside doctors and therapists and learn some of the following procedures:
-Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and physiotherapy
-Neurological Rehabilitation
-Manual and Manipulative Therapy
-Core Stabilization
-Shoulder and Neck Post-Operative Therapy
-Home Care Education
-Creating Fitness and Personalized Excercise Programs
Who does our internship programs?

- Gap Year students who want to do something meaningful abroad
- People on a career break or career transition
Requirements:
- 1 month minimum
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be studying or have studied something related to PT, excerise science, recreation, etc.
Leave UR Mark charges a $575 placement fee for total Pre-Departure Support and airport pickup at Bangalore International Airport as well as orientation. We can also provide housing and 24/7 emergency support for the duration of time spent in India.
