Direct and supervise program activities and volunteers
Assist with recruiting, training and coordinating volunteers
Establish new programs and expand current programming at iDream and within the community to support strategic objectives
Assess community needs and implement programming accordingly
Work in cooperation with other interns and Staff to market programs, distribute program information and register program participants
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community leaders and organizations
Monitors and evaluate program performance and participation
Assists with fund raising activities and special events
Assist with day to day operations
Currently pursuing or having recently completed a relevant social science-related degree, such as Public Administration, Program Management, Political Science, Sociology, Education, International Affairs, or Development etc.
Prior professional experience in above fields required. Fundraising or non-profit experience preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills
Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc).
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly organized and able to manage multiple ongoing projects
Must be able to work 10-15 hours per week; days and time are flexible
