Are you passionate about service? Do you want to make a difference while
gaining relevant professional experience? Join the CalSERVES Intern team!
CalSERVES, a program of Napa County Office of Education's Research &
Professional Development Center, is looking for a dedicated and eager intern for
our afterschool program. This position would be based out of one of our six after
school program locations in Santa Rosa: Bellevue Elementary, Kawana
Elementary, Meadow View Elementary School, R.L. Stevens Elementary, Taylor
Mountain Elementary, or Wright Charter.
Tasks may include:
CalSERVES runs tutoring and after school programs in Southwest Santa Rosa elementary schools. With focused instruction in nutrition, PE, art, math, and science, we strive to create an outstanding learning environment. Help us make an impact in the life of a child!
Approximately 10 hours per week, flexible with your schedule. Minimum
commitment of 2 months. Duration of internship can vary based on your needs.
Positions are available for January Intercession, Spring semester, Summer, or
Fall semester 2013.
This program is designed for college undergraduates, but High school juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply!

This internship is designed to provide professional and leadership experience for an individual looking to work in the education field, nonprofit industry or other professional settings. Upon completion of the internship the intern may utilize the supervisor as a reference and request a letter of recommendation for future job applications. This position may be taken for college credit. This position is unpaid.
