Harvests, Inc. is a Denver-based consulting collaborative assisting non-profit organizations with economic strategies to strengthen and extend their reach. We implement business-minded project plans to support these organizations in developing social enterprises to source valuable earned income streams. We specialize in delivering these plans to market, focusing on their sales, marketing and operating components.
We are currently seeking a student intern majoring in marketing, business management or nonprofit management to join our team during the 2013 winter/ spring semester. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who will effectively support us with the following:
- Coordination of activities to embellish and maintain Harvests' on-line media presence
- Development/deployment of client implementation strategies
- Assistance with survey administration and collected data analysis
- Planning and implementation of Harvests' 2013-14 models for expansion
Tasks will include:
- Assisting with the re-build of the Harvests website and related blog functions, including our Facebook and Twitter presence currently in development
- Case study research and profile management
- Survey administration and analysis tasks
- CRM database entry and management
- Business planning research
- Report development and generation using Excel, Access and Act-CRM software
Requirements/Preferences
- Substantive Social Media planning knowledge and experience
- Excellent MS Office Suite skills (including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Act! CRM experience – helpful but not required
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Excellent writing and strong presentation skills
The position schedule is 15 hours per week for the duration of the semester and is located in our offices in downtown Denver.
