Saint Judes Army Organization is seeking two recreation event leaders to assist with our recreation activities, including but not limited to: paddling events, canoe trips, guided mountain climbs and running, etc. Recreation event leaders will work with diverse audiences and community members in an effort to connect them. Interested candidates must be willing and able to represent theSaint Judes army Organization in a positive manner. Heavy lifting and long periods of standing, walking, and paddling will be expected. All necessary training will be provided, with the exception of paddling skills and experience.This is a volunteer position with commitment. Individuals must be able to commit to helping lead at least one recreation event.
The Recreation Event Leader will work directly with President Saint Judes Amry organization.
Applicants must be over 18 years of age, have demonstrable and proven paddling experience, and have previous experience leading large and diverse groups of individuals. Individuals who demonstrate patience, responsibility, self-direction, and flexibility to change are desired. First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.
All applicants must agree to submit to a criminal background check.
