We are looking for volunteers to fill the following roles:
• Construction Assistant: ideally with building, carpentry & electrical experience to manage housing construction and other camp maintenance. 3-6 months
• GIS Assistant (Geographic Information System): ideally trained and/or experienced in GIS to further develop the current GIS used by CLZ, train CLZ/ZAWA personnel, set up formal GIS, data and monitoring protocols develop an interface for PDAs using CyberTracker software and a data management protocol for aerial monitoring and surveys. 1-2 months
• Administrative Assistant: to assist with hosting visitors at CLZ base camp, supervising and training camp and kitchen staff, helping with basic CLZ accounts and marketing. 6-12 months
This is a unique opportunity to live at CLZ Base Camp just outside a spectacular National Park on the Zambezi River and be part of an effective conservation organisation. Volunteers are asked to cover their costs of food & accommodation: ZMW3,000 (US$600) per month at CLZ base camp
